We’re pleased to announce the launch of our inaugural India Terminal data science competition in September 2022.
This fall, in partnership with Citadel and Citadel Securities, Correlation One will host our first-ever India Terminal coding competition for college and graduate students (Sept. 8 - 15, 2022).
Prizes include potential recruiting opportunities at Citadel and a cash prize of $15,000 USD.
Terminal, developed by Correlation One, is a one-of-a-kind AI game where competitors upload algorithms to compete against one another. The platform, available for gaming year-round, features a tower-style defense game where competitors battle head to head. To date, there have been over 45,000 competitors and over 8 million matches played. You can watch this video to see Terminal in action.
Recognized as some of the most prestigious coding competitions for university students around the world, our Terminal events provide an opportunity for employers to engage the world’s top AI talent and identify truly elite candidates for job positions.
Since its launch in 2018, Citadel has partnered with Correlation One to host 30+ Terminal events for 5,000+ students. The 2021-2022 season featured nine Terminal competitions across the world for students from top universities including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Cambridge, Peking, National University of Singapore, and many others.
Taking place between September 8-15, 2022, the inaugural India Terminal will be a week-long, virtual competition with a set of game rules and configurations.
And while Indian students could participate in our Asia and Pacific Terminal competition, this India-exclusive event will highlight local talent. It will also give a greater number of high-achieving participants the chance to showcase their skills.

With participants from schools such as IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kanpur, India Terminal will be one of our most vigorous and challenging competitions to date.
