Walmart Data Science Bootcamp Launch

Correlation One is thrilled to announce the launch of the first iteration of the Walmart Data Science Bootcamp, in partnership with Walmart.

The Walmart Data Science Bootcamp is a 100% free training program, which will provide comprehensive skills-based training that enables participants to advance their Data Science and retail skill set and join Walmart Global Tech's elite data science team. The program will bolster participants’ careers through 6 weeks of live online training classes, where participants can expect to receive data science training led by Correlation One’s world-class teaching staff. The curriculum will teach data skills through real business cases using actual datasets, so fellows will know how to apply what they learn to the real world. Upon program completion, participants will have the opportunity to interview for a full-time role and be ready to hit the ground running as a data scientist at Walmart.

Data scientists at Walmart specialize in applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve problems across merchandising, supply chain, operations, real estate, and e-commerce. They work with a high caliber team from a variety of disciplines to build new software and radically change the business. Data scientists develop and deploy advanced algorithms at scale as well as support and enable the entire project lifecycle including problem discovery with business clients, algorithmic design, coding, validation, deployment, testing and monitoring.

Correlation One has previously worked with Walmart on our Data Science for All (DS4A) training programs, where Walmart served as an employer partner and hired graduated DS4A fellows. We have built a strong partnership with Walmart, and are even more excited to now expand on our relationship with a Walmart specific program, the Walmart Data Science Bootcamp.
