I joined the National Guard after high school and have served 13 years as a section leader in a multi-role bridge company, applying engineering expertise in a dynamic environment. 


The leadership experience I've gained is hard to find in civilian life. I've earned two associate degrees and a bachelor's degree, all funded by the military, which has been life-changing. My military experience has significantly contributed to my professional growth in my civilian career as a Planning Engineer for the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

The Army Career Invitational is a unique, one-day, virtual event designed to help individuals uncover their potential and explore career pathways through the U.S. Army. Our mission is to show you how joining the Army can give you access to free training, on-the-job experience, and other benefits that will enable you to start the career you want. We will guide participants in identifying their current skills, understanding how those skills align with Army roles, and gaining insight into the career paths you can access through the Army for both grounded forces and non-combat military jobs.

Given that capacity is limited, we kindly ask participants to only take part in one event. If you were registered but couldn’t make the first event and would like to attend the February iteration, please contact our team. We will send you the details on how to attend.

 
 Participants will embark on interactive "missions" that simulate real-life challenges. These scenario-based challenges are designed to be engaging and insightful, helping individuals see how their abilities match up with potential Army careers. By "solving missions," participants can discover their strengths, their areas for growth, and receive personalized recommendations for Army roles that match their skills and interests. Participants in this event will not only get the opportunity to learn about and apply for jobs with the U.S. Army, but also will be eligible to win a share of $3,000 in cash prizes. No specific career or education prerequisites are required, given one of the main goals of this event is to help you identify your current strengths and areas for growth. We will help you evaluate the skills required to join the Army and progress towards the career that you want. Applicants must be (1) US citizens (native or naturalized) or a permanent resident with a valid Green Card and (2) over the age of 18 to participate. Individuals from all levels of experience and backgrounds with a genuine interest in learning about how they can achieve their career goals through the Army are welcome to apply.

Individuals are required to complete an application. Applicants will be asked questions about their background, experience, and interests. This will help us confirm eligibility and ensure that your interests and skills align with available roles.

 Applicants will receive a confirmation email after they complete their application. The week before the event, we will send all qualified applicants additional event information. We may need to limit the number of participants due to high levels of interest, so we encourage people to apply as soon as possible.

 $3,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, consisting of raffle prizes of $500. Anyone who completes a mission during the event will be eligible to win. This event is completely free for participants! Only a modern web browser and internet connection are required. Only individuals can participate, teams are not permitted. No, not participating in this event does not preclude someone from applying to join the Army. We recommend that they still fill out the application form so Correlation One can redirect the individual to the appropriate jobs in the Army and assist in their job application process. Correlation One will be able to share your information with the appropriate hiring managers if you are interested in other areas. The DoD hires thousands of people per year across the entire spectrum of jobs. Please fill out the application form so we can share your information with the appropriate hiring managers.
